Ubuntu in VPS Servers
With any of our Linux VPS web hosting plans, you will be able to choose the Ubuntu Operating System from the order page. We're aware of the fact that some programs have particular requirements in terms of the OS they are set up on, which means that you will be able to select between the 32-bit and the 64-bit edition of Ubuntu. You can also select whether the VPS should feature the Hepsia Control Panel or with no Control Panel at all. In the first case, you'll get everything you'll need pre-installed - MySQL, electronic mail server, FTP, etc. software, and you're able to make everything through your web browser, yet the root access will be restricted; while in the second case, you'll get Ubuntu and the Apache server software only, which means that you are able to set up anything freely because of the full root access which you'll be given, yet the server management tasks can be performed using a console. Our sysadmins will keep track of your VPS and update the Ubuntu installation weekly when you add the optional Managed Services package that we offer.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Servers
When the apps that you need to run require Ubuntu and plenty of resources, you can choose our Linux dedicated web hosting plans and add this Operating System to your order with a single click. You'll be able to choose between the 32-bit and the 64-bit release of the Operating System, based on which edition your applications need in order to work properly and to get the most of the server hardware. As you'll have full root access, you'll have full control over the software environment on your machine and you will be able to set up anything you would like. The Ubuntu-powered server does not contain a web hosting Control Panel, therefore you can manage your content using a Secure Shell console, however if you'd like, you can install a third-party Control Panel and use a graphical interface to control your sites. When you do not want to lose time managing your server, you can take advantage of the Managed Services package, which includes a number of tasks performed by our admins on your behalf. The upgrade includes routine updates of your Ubuntu Operating System as well.
