Custom Error Pages in Cloud Website Hosting
You can set up custom made error pages for all of your domains or subdomains. The feature is supported by all cloud website hosting solutions that we provide, so after you log in to your Hepsia Control Panel and go to the Hosted Domains section, you can click on the Edit button for a domain/subdomain and in the pop-up that will be displayed, you can choose the type of error page that should show up - a default one from our system, a typical Apache web server page or a custom one. For the last mentioned option, you will need to assign the URL to the page, so when you use custom pages, you must upload the files in your Internet hosting account first. Another way is to use an .htaccess file located inside the domain or subdomain folder with a line for every error type. The actual syntax can be seen in our Knowledge Base, to help you use this feature even if you do not have any previous experience.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Servers
All of the Linux semi-dedicated plans that we offer support customized error pages and it will not take more than several clicks from your Hepsia web hosting Control Panel to use this functionality. The option can be found in the Hosted Domains section of your Control Panel where you'll need to enter the links to the custom-made files using very simple drop-down menus and an easy to use interface. Keep in mind, you have to upload them in your account before that. If you do not need to use this function at some point, you can disable it just as quickly and select an Apache server page or a default page from our system to be displayed if your visitors encounter an error. If you'd like to, you can also use an .htaccess file to enable the personalized error pages. The file should contain a particular line of code plus a link for each error type and you can discover an example of the entire content for all four error types in our Help section.
